| Having met in 2003 in Bristol as next door neighbours, it didn’t take us long to decide that we wanted to take the plunge and “tie the knot” and by 2004, almost a year to the day of our first date, we became engaged. We have both had varied, and what most people would consider rather “unconventional” lives, enjoying stints of backpacking and doing weird and wonderful things such as taking part in sumo wrestling (John) or eating fried cockroaches (Mel). Our favourite quote is “two roads diverged in a wood and I took the one less travelled by, and that has made all the difference”, and perhaps is it no coincidence that we both tend to live our lives by this philosophy! |
