Honeymoon plans
Well, what can I say…..John “the body” Brenchley has gone through a few changes over the years, honing and fine-tuning I hear you say and….  ok, I can take credit for the final chiselled looks but its hard to improve upon the wild stud looks I had as a child. (no-one will read this anyway, most of my friends will be checking out Mel, and her friends are all “Actor lovies” and just looking at the pictures)
About John
Have you got any info and pictures that you think should be added ....
any secret stories that others would love to hear....?

Why not email them to us and if they're not too rude we
might put them on.......

Want to find out more about Mel?
I may not sound like a Yarrrrrpi from the velt but yes, I was born in South Africa, living there until I was about 5. From then it was to the sunny fields of Kent where, like Kevin Kostner  I ran free with the wild animals and found myself…..or was it that  I was just skiving off in the local woods and scrumping the farmers apples, and absorbing the wise words like a student of Lao Tzu’s Tao from my grandfather while “dancing with pigs” on the farm.
After years of the finest colleges and finishing schools I realised that 12 years learning was enough and a break was needed, I pretty quickly discovered that 12 hour night shifts on a factory shop floor were too much like hard work but profitable! So with the encouragement of my folks at 18 I began my African travels, Landing in Kenya, zig-zagging and hitching my way down to Cape Town.
Well, the call of the knowledge and fulfilment beckoned ……. Well I ran out on money and thus to avoid getting a “proper job” the student years beckoned. Little was I to know that unlike the dossy English and art students, as a chemistry student in three years I would never find the way to the pub…..shackled as I was to the test tubes and library books. My philosophy has always been that learning is it's own reward!! I live by it.....
The rear in the picture is not mine, mine is the face to the right, hard to tell them apart I know. Two wonderful years were spent in Tamayu ??? Japan where I lived an amazing life and gained some amazing friends both native and Gaijin, some of whom  I hope to see at the wedding.....They had better be there, especially as one will be performing the ceremony!! And to quote a well known "Barbarian" "John, your so menkui!", Akemi, you're so right....
Well the time came when the real world beckoned.....I tried to put it off but at the age of 24 the world of plastics called. actually, more the fact that after a few weeks back at home my folks had had enough and wanted their house back and the unforgettable words to the Distrupol sales rep Carl "Penfold" Bardget of "I've had enough of my son, I don't suppose you've got any jobs going.....?" led to the start of my wonderful career as a Polymer (nerd/gimp) Engineer. I even got "Proper" qualified with a Masters degree in Polymer Technology. (Superman pants come later)
What a wonderful place to work, just the best environment, challenging, demanding and exhilirating and such wonderful people, like a big happy family.....sometimes I wonder how I can leave, if only for a few months, how can South America draw me away.....infact stop, someone tell Mel I'm staying, I owe it to the team.....
My explorations so far, doesn't look much when you put it like this but I've had some amazing times travelling the world, scuba-diving in Okinawa, sky-diving over Victoria falls, climbing in Africa, Japan, Peru and over the ruins of Ankor Watt and met some wonderful people along the way...........
My body is a temple....water as usual....
.......talking of wonderful people in my life, apart from the obvious (Mel), here I am with my two wonderful sisters, Lucy, the eldest on the Left and Kate in the middle.  As you can see, I am the youngest, and as such, have had to live with Lucy and Kate taking the limelight for far too long.........Sept 2nd is my turn!!!        Can't wait to see you all there.
